This family has three gorgeous boys and wanted to commission a piece that represented their time while living in Senegal. What better way than to incorporate their boys, the wildlife, the architecture, the history and a little bit of the Dakar Rally thrown in for good measure! '...How do you find a way to capture the special times in your life when your family has a REAL adventure? We have been posted for work to Senegal on the westernmost tip of Africa for a few years and Kate has been able to create an image that conveys the wonderful experiences and emotions that we have shared as a family during this time. The artwork is something that we can share with friends and family when they ask "What was it like to live in Africa?" Kate has the perfect way of using her visual talents to intertwine all the disparate things that we wanted to include in the piece of art. She also has a lovely manner - happy to produce different options and experiment until the image is just right...'
